Actually I am not one who holds to the belief that Oswald acted alone, if he was even involved. I think he was definitely a fall guy at the least. As far as WHO was behind it, that is open for debate. I don't think you can say it was because of some great government coup. Kennedy was not that virtuous. (gasp) IMHO it was red Russia acting through the mob.

Its pretty clear now that Kruschev did everything in his power to prevent JFK's murder.
I have never been a fan of JFK, but reading the secret communications between Kennedy and Kruschev in "JFK and the Unspeakable" really opened my eyes. JFK had many personal faults, but we can thank Kennedy, Fidel Castro and Nikita Kruschev for preventing WWIII when the US military was doing everything in their power to start it.
I strongly recommend "JFK and the Unspeakable." It will change everything you think you know about JFK and the US government.
