Ok Stephen and I have talked through his schedule and set dates for Indy Squadron gaming through the end of the year. Our next official gaming day is NEXT Saturday the 12th at 5 PM at Stephen's house. Also the calender is updated all the way through the end of the year. Oh, HIS schedule...no one else's schedule matters? I see how it is.

Everyone take a deep breath. News flash - we are having a slow year. We have had them in the past. We will have more of them in the future. Again, this is largely my fault and I apologize. However, I believe that some common sense, a Prozac and a reality check will show that the reports of our demise are premature. LOL. I do think we need to go back to 10 am though. This 5 pm stuff sucks if you expect to get more than one or two games in for a session. Even noon would be better.

We spoke to our friend at the Game Preserve and he is willing to allow us to host our Armistice Day tourney there as long as we get with him well ahead on the date. He doesn't have as much space as Gamers, but I think it's a bit cozier and less of the bad elements that so drove us nuts at Gamers. Stephen I'll talk to you about it tonight.

News I got at GenCon was that Gamerz had maybe changed hands again and the CCG element was not as prevalent as before. So I say give Gamerz another chance, they were good to us for a long time.
Hope you guys got some games in yesterday!

Three games. The amazing thing is that they all had 7-8 players each, including two rookies. And we still got in 3. Not bad.
Do you guys still want to move starting times back a few hours?

I do think we need to consider an earlier start time or at least to move our games a bit faster. But still I do think we did pretty well with a lot of new players to get 3 games in with 8 players.

Still the games were all fun (even the lame one when 2 of my wingmates suffered brain damage and didn't dive after 4 diving enemy planes).

Ok for the Oct. 10th gaming, I just had a great conversation with Lyle my friend at the Game Preserve. He is actually interested and excited about us having our games there. He said he is open that day if we want to reserve it, and we don't have to pay anything or even feel obligated to buy anything. (Unlike some of the attitude we got from the new Gamers owners the last time we were there). Considering my kids and I and the Morgans play there quite often, I think it's worth a try. He'd also be open to let us play our championship game there in November, but that's a bit further in the schedule than he can say for 100% sure right now. He said he thinks it should be ok because the mini's tourney will probably be the week before.
The particulars:
They do close at 9 pm, so we'd have to be done by then, but that might fit with everyone who would like us to start at an earlier time. They open at 10 am and he said we could start at any time we like. I was thinking maybe noon to 9 pm or whenever we got done would be a great day of gaming. What say ye fellow Indy Squadron members?

So we're on for Saturday at Gamerz... or is that actually at the Game Preserve? The schedule says "Gamers," which is neither. Also, who's coming and do we still want to start at 5pm? If its actually at the Game Preserve we need to start earlier since they close at 9.
Who's in?

We should be good for noon on Saturday at the Game Preserve. I am going to touch base with Lyle tomorrow and make sure we're still good to go. Wayne and I are in, I'm not sure if the Morgans will make it or not, they just had a death in the family.

Can't figure out how to delete the other entry in the Calender.
