Stephen,
You have repeatedly stated you have found the truth, and you demand others to seek the truth you've found. But you do realize that Jesus said the truth would set you free.
Has this "Truth" you've found set you free? You've stated here that you can't go to church, that your fellowship is broken. You've stated you don't want to be the butt of jokes. You've stated that these views have caused problems in your life.
I hear you guys make statements indicating you're looking over your shoulder all the time:
"Is the government watching what we do" "Is the government listening to our phone coversations" "Is the government reading every email we type" "Is the government going to destroy our lives, take away all of our freedoms" "We aren't free we only have permission to act"
On and on you go. Have these views really set you free?
I would rather have this conversation with you privately so that my concern can be heard and this doesn't come off as "Trying to win an argument".
I'm not trying to embarrass you, hurt your feelings, or win an argument. I'm a friend who is concerned and has been for years about the direction you've headed with your political views. It seems like a deep dark tunnel that you are heading down. Quite frankly I fear for you based on the things you say sometimes.
I wonder what happened to that polite young Stephen Dale who was always so well mannered and called me "Mr. Kevin" until he was practically a grown man.
My heart is very burdened for you and your family. Have these "Truths" set you free?

You have repeatedly stated you have found the truth False. I said I was seeking truth. False. I suggested that others seek truth. Yes, I believe they have. I am no longer a slave to propaganda. I have chosen to see the world as it is, rather than as I wish it to be. None are so enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. "It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it." - Patrick Henry

I'm not well mannered... I would disagree. You are enthusiastic, but that doesn't necessarily mean ill-mannered.

But since they've embraced these views I have noticed a difference. ESPECIALLY in how they act if someone disagrees about government or politics. Again my point in this was my concern for my friends that I have known since all of their children were very small and lived next door to me back in the mid 1990's.

Would you be able and willing to say "Alice, Olivia, Stephen Dale, etc...I've been really wrong about my views on government."?

Stephen you argue here repeatedly day after day not as one who is "Seeking truth", but as one who's already found it. You won't concede the least little things, even when you're views are shown to have holes or at the least should require more investigation. And you can't see it because you're on inside. I'm on the outside looking in. These views have not had a positive impact on you my friend. I wish I could get you to see it.

Kevin, Stephen sees the US as a corrupt nation. A nation that many people think is a 'Christian nation. Those same people hold up the Prince of Peace as a warrior and ask him to support their wars and atrocities. To Stephen, this is hypocracy. I agree with him. Your and Michael's response to the USA's transgressions has been, "So? Everyone is guilty." Kind of like, "THEY killed 20 people . I only killed 5 people. " So ,as long as THEY killed more people than YOU , you are not a murdrerer? That's what your responses mean to me.

Further (and this is my main gripe), the government has done FAR more to clamp down on the freedoms of US citizens than it has done to try to track down responsible parties (well, aside from attacking 2 soverign contries who were not officially responsible for the provoking event). How does one look at this fact (as illustrated ad infinitum in other threads here) and see anything other than corruption and self serving decisions on the part of the elected leadership?
