Ignoring the slap in the face from the FitS Society (from promoting the minicon in Minnesota when they've never promoted our event!!!!!!  which could very easily be a minicon as well) our game has been moved to Nov 22nd. Tentative start time is 4 pm and tentative location is Rick Lacy's house. Anyone who would like to come would be welcome. Anyone who would has played in at least one gameday with us this year would be eligible for the squadron championship. Anyone planning on attending please post here so we can get a tentative count. |

I'm all over it, as well as at least one tag along. Possibly SD as well. Dory is a strong possibility this year, too. Ditto for Scott. You sure wont' be alone.

One might think you'd have over an overwhelming response to the most prestigious local event in the history of the game... It's sad really. We seem to have had a rash of people developing lives and not wanting to play anymore....go figure. |

Truth is, we've seen highs and lows like this before. Sometimes we have 15-18 people from five states, sometimes we'll have half a dozen locals. We're sort of gearing this year's event toward the latter, plus we're in a big lull right now anyway. I kinda welcome a ADFT with just our regulars for a change.

I would encourage you guys to post something on the calendar & events section of the forum on www.dawnpatrol.org as the site has been growing rapidly since GenCon- you may get a few more local players that are interested in the game. We could also post a front page article as well if you like! I know MC has been trying to get the Aerodrome finished & out this month, but you may also be able to squeeze word in there if you contact him quickly if you have not done so already... |

Wayne and I are of course definites for the championship. Wyatt says he may come and play, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that one.

I think you should count on six players. Me, you, Wayne and Kevin are in. Of SD, Dory and Scott, I'd say two of them will show. I think 8 is a maximum.
