I will be there and am signed up for the "Big Game" and 2 others. I should arrive sometime Wednesday night, not sure how late but if it isn't too late would be willing to get in a game then also.

The current plan is to hold warm up gaming at Gamerz on the south side of Indianapolis on Wed afternoon/evening, anyone in town and wishing to play is certainly invited. |

Wow, that is a bit of a haul from downtown. I would guess that by the time we get checked into the hotel and grab a bite to eat it might be a bit much. I was thinking of a game in one of the hotel lobbies somewhere downtown but understand if that isn't what everyone else has planned. Are there many other FitS members who will be staying in the downtown area? |

I agree with everything Albpilot said (except I'm sure he meant voila - we don't need a string section). It's not that long a trip at all. |

2 MORE DAYS!!!! WHOO HOO!!! I'll be at Gamerz before 6 PM if anyone wants to show up earlier than that. Well....a surprisingly lackluster turnout at Gamerz for warms ups was a bit disappointing. However, the number of new players we had at the table during the con was excellent! Overall I was very pleased. Thanks to all the vet players who helped out with teaching the rule sets. And Aaron, if you are reading this I think I'm done drastically revising rules. There are just too many things wacky to allow a rule change to improve it. I think we are stuck with a known kludge-y system until the (mythical) 8th ed comes out. What wasn't so good was the level of participation from some of the society regulars...I think this is because a lot of folks may not have decided to come down, or if they did they spent their time on other games. I'd like to see more support of the game if possible. It would certainly help recruiting more players IMO. |

A very fun event this year. The next issue of ISD will be a week late due to travels, but we'll have more in due time. And the best thing in the world for increased participation is a NEW EDITION.  |
