Who are we waiting on from the Allied side? Lets get this game rollin!!

I just looked at Kev's email & its dated the 3rd of Feb... have we been waiting a week just to get pilots from the Allies? Being the impatient young one that I am, it would be nice to set in place some 'friendly reminders' to keep this bigger E-game moving at least at a snail pace... do we need to be more active on this site and PM users here, did someone not get Kevan's email? Maybe everyone should post a 'back-up' contact mode in case they are holding up the game and dont even know it? what do ppl think...

Chris, our replacement Allied player, should be set up in the next day, and I've received all the Allied pilots. I'll be sending out the starting setup tonight, along with some details I've neglected to mention regarding how the game will be run (for veterans of the e-mail games, there will be nothing new, other than how I'll be treating AA/MGs).

Edit: How's that for a quick response? Just an example of how attentive I will be to player concerns in this game... at Kevan's Email Game Emporium, client satisfaction is our first priority

WOW amazingly fast response!! I am a satisfied customer of the Emporium! My concern is more with non-responsive players... I know in previous e-games we have had the issue of waiting on a player that doesnt even know it is their turn. It would be nice to setup a fail-safe method to avoid this, maybe an alternate email address or some way of contacting a player after a day or two to make sure they know they are on the clock...

Or we just send Guido around to bust some kneecaps...

But seriously, you're right. Especially with 8 players, I will try to stay on top of that. My goal is one turn per week, which is probably a bit optimistic.

So far we are at a lighting pace!! 3 people have moved in less than 1/2 a day!!!
Rick, being that it is your first e-game if you have any questions/issues please let one of us know as we are all happy to help (especially if you just want to land your plane and surrender!)

Yoodle's turn came in, and earlier today I took a look at a test turn that Chris sent to me. Since I know what Chris is likely to do, I'll start working out firing details this evening and send out the new turn when Chris has a chance to confirm his move.

I got a bounceback email message from both Yoodle & Rick... are both of your emails working & its just mine that has the problem?

I haven't had any problems with it that I know of. I've received e-mails from others that are involved in the game.

Chris is up, does he need any help with his turn?

Chris's job often takes him out of town during the week. I parked next to his car this morning, and it had a good layer of frost, so I'm guessing that he left yesterday and is gone for a day or two. Vassal won't install on our work computers, so we'll have to wait for him to get back home to do his turn.

So where are we with turn #2? The suspense of my takeoff attempt is killing me!! (hopefully not literally!)

When I checked my email this morning, I was still waiting on the last player to move. If memory serves me correctly, it's Rick in his Dolphin. I'm working out of town today and tomorrow, so the soonest the turn will get processed is late Wednesday evening.
