Last Thursday while we were starting up the weekly VDP game I tried to synchronize and my computer froze and then shut down ands rebooted. A few minutes ago when trying to open VDP E-game #5 my computer did the same thing. If anyone else has had problems with VASSAL recently, post it here. I'm going to send an e-mail to Rodney Kinney about the issue and I'll also include any other noted problems as well. I assume it has something to do with the fact my computer updated to VASSAL version 3.0.4 prior to Thursdays crash and then updated to v3.0.5 before it crashed today.

For some reason, I've been able to keep running with v2.9.9. I never get any prompts to update to 3.0.x. I was thinking after our game last Thursday that it could have been my different version causing problems.
I haven't been following the Vassal developers' forum for the last couple of weeks, but if I remember correctly, there were some server problems that needed to be sorted out.

It probably depends on how one accesses VASSAL. The link on my desktop goes to the website which automatically makes sure I have the latest version. Right now I'm at v3.0.5.
