I have to head out of town to Boston for a couple days, but I'll be back on Thursday and should be online Thursday night at around 8PM. Just so everyone knows, next time you try to get onto VASSAL it should update you to version 3.0.2.

I'll be there this Thursday too. I figure it would be nice to get in another pair of campaign games before the end of the month.

What happened guys? Mark, Dan and myself had an Allied rescue mission all rolled up, but alas, no fourth I saved the game in case we want to try it at a later date. The new version of VASSAL seems to have a few bugs. Dan has issues with loading the gameboard, and I had problems with the card window... At least 'Dogfights' on the History Channel ROCKED last night... all WW1!!

What topics did they cover on DOGFIGHTS last night? The one I saw had all WWII bombers.

www.history.com/minisites/dogfights/Dogfights : The First Dogfighters "World War I saw the birth of a new type of combat: the dogfight. Aces from almost every nation take canvas and wire bi-planes into battle and pioneer new tactics. German ace Ernst Udet goes 1 v. 1 with Georges Guynemer. Werner Voss takes on an entire squadron of British aces...and American ace Arthur Raymond Brooks finds himself in the dogfight of his life. " Of course there were some inaccuracies, but it was still a cool show! I highly recommend catching it on re-run if you can!

Sorry I didn't make it, guys. I had an urgent family matter come up, and didn't make it home until late.
Can't wait for September, game attendance should start to stablilise again.

I planned on being online, but after being away a few days I had various family matters to attend to. That plus I was dead tired meant I wasn't going to make it past 10PM or so anyway.
