Hey all, Its DEAD at work today, so I have my thinking cap on... I think it would be neat to have a graphic of where all the current VDP players are located around North America....kind of like the push pin map idea... I suppose just a list would be good as well, but it would be nice to have a graphic. I will start pulling it together today. I may have to post it on the MN site as I dont know if we can post images here...

I know there's a way to do it with Google Maps, but I've never done it myself.

That's a good idea from an organizational standpoint so we can get a better idea where people are joining in from. Currently the only problem that limits VDP participation is the time element. One has to be available at the times the game is being played. That makes it hard for players from overseas to join in. That's one reason I started up the e-games, so that players from abroad can more easily participate. I remember the old webgames had lots of Australian participation and it would be nice to see that again with the e-games.
BTW as far as where I'm located, I'm in Huntsville, AL - The Rocket City.

Hey Dan, Small world! My uncle & his family live in Rolling Meadows. Sorry about the mix-up, I have corrected it on the map.

I'm originally from Buffalo Grove (another NW 'burb of Chitown) and get up there a couple times a year to visit the folks. Maybe next time I'm up there we can all get together and I'll have a chance to actually play this game for the first time with real counters and maps and charts and dice.

If it happens in the late fall, then my new room addition will hopefully be done and I will finally have the space needed to host a DP gaming day/night. I am all for it, so let me know!

I know my dad & I will be down over labor day weekend, although we will have the wives with us so it may be tough to break away, but it would be fun to schedule a DP weekend in the area sometime!!

The only time I get up that way is usually during the holidays. Chances are my next visit will be either Thanksgiving or Christmas. I have the wife and kids with me but I can usually get away for one evening of gaming.
