I might be able to play that night. Depends on the Wife and Child. I'll plan on being there and let you know if the plan changes.

My wife's working tonight so I should be able to play, although 6 is a bit early. 8 should work for me. Are there any plans scenario-wise? How about something Italian front-ish? That is of course assuming everyone has the required aircraft data.

I still have a late war fighter scenario saved that we could use... I do have Italian stuff as well if there is more interest in that.

Well the Friday night game was a lot of fun. We pitted a mixed bag of late war fighters against each other. I had a Sopwith Dolphin, Dan was in a Snipe, Andy flew a Siemens-Schuckert DIII and Rex was in a DrI. The first couple turns were inconclusive as lots of 6's were rolled on to-hit rolls. After that I got a lucky pilot hit on Andy, but it proved to be a NE hit and his intrepid aviator battled on. After that the Allies saw the better of the numbers rolls and it allowed us to deal out lots of hit points of damage. It looked like Rex was done for but then a mistake by me as to how one shoots with a Dolphin meant the crit he just received didn't occur so it allowed he and Andy to escape. All in all a very fun game. I really enjoy the late war aircraft and we may end up replaying the same scenario again some day but with each of us switching sides.

The ground crews must have been in awe seeing Rex's tattered wings and fuselage. I know from our own count that he absorbed over 30 rounds of ammunition. Most impressive.

Yes they were. I landed with 10 hits in my right wing and 9 hits in my left and 4 engine hits. Miraculously I managed to avoid any crits. It was getting crazy there at the end.
