I'm pretty sure it's more related to the asshat who took it over from WOTC and promptly started upping booth rates to the vendors and badge rates to the attendees...never have I seem someone as stupidly clueless to business acumen. What a tool. Did anyone notice last year the over 20% drop in number of vendors from the year before? |

As one who monitors the Gen Con forums regularly, none of us really know what the whole story is, except that Gen Con will be under Chapter 11 protection. The convention will go on as planned. Hey if it worked for the Airlines, why not Gen Con
