Happy Holidays, Everyone!
On December 29th, 1988 the Indy Squadron held its first ever official, four player DP games.
On December 29th, 2008, we'll celebrate our 20th anniversary with gaming at 5pm at the Skinner's house.
If we can get my dad to come in the house and say "hi" to everyone, we will actually have all four of our original players back from 1988. Can you believe that? Dory, Scott, Nelson and Stephen played the first game in 1988, and it looks like everyone will be back this coming Monday as well, although Scott won't make it until around 7pm due to working late.
In addition, long time players Stephen Dale, Wayne, Kevin, Rick (and possibly Evan) are expected to attend.
Be sure to bring plenty of chips and salsa and a soft drink. We'll also have an archive of all the old copies of the Dispatch as well as some old photos from Indy's early days, and we'll all have a good time. We'll plan on ordering pizza if everyone wants to chip in. That's about as traditional as it gets!
See you this Monday night at 5 pm for the 20th Anniversary Games of the Indy Squadron!

And be sure to wish Dory a belated Happy Birthday! She turns 19 - give or take - today (Saturday).

Change in plan, doesn't look like I'm gonna get there today. My apologies.

Sorry you didn't make it... but that's okay, we're already schedule for December 2028. We had a really good time. 3 games, 8 players. And guess who was a no-show? Brace yourself... you'll never guess in a million years... SCOTT JONES!!! You may now pass out from shock and surprise. Other than our resident no-show (boo!!!) all the players from 1988's original game were there, which was way cool. We took some nice groups pics for the next issue of ISD, which could be as early as this weekend.
