I have been wondering what other games DP players might regularly play, online or face to face is fine too. DP has such a broad appeal that I am sure our answers would vary greatly. My hope is this thread might reveal that some of you play games that other DP players also take part in. I somewhat regularly play: Tradewars 2002 - eisonline.com and classictw.com - (old bbs game now in a windows version - still fun!) World War II Online Battleground Europe - wwiionline.com (great flying and better than average sea and ground war simulation) CounterStrike Source (half life 2 engine on Steam - steampowered.com ) So, what about the rest of you?

Well...
Classic games: Risk Stratego Monopoly Clue
Wargames: Saganami Island Tactical Simulator Star Fleet Battles Different variations of miniatures (Napoleonic, Modern Armor, etc) Harthingy (computer) Evony (online) Heroclix (Marvel)
CCG: MTG
Roleplaying: Champions/Heroes WoW DnD
Now, I don't regularly play this entire list (in fact, with my schedule I'm lucky to get in 1 every other month), but I have played all the the above over my gaming career...plus a whole bunch of things I only tried once or twice and didn't feel like listing out.

Not much.
Have played D&D 3-5 times in my life and enjoyed it. I like the classics such as Monopoly, Sorry and Stratego (which I played constantly as a kid). Don't do anything else nowadays. Only DP.
I don't consider myself a gamer in the true sense. I started on DP because it was a way to stay within the hobby genre of choice (WWI aviation) on a casual, social level that combines history with a fun game. And the role playing aspect really appealed to me.

Axis and Allies Stratego Risk Dungeons and Dragons (I've been running games for 25 years) Star Wars RPG Saga Edition Star Wars Miniatures Marvel Super Heroes RPG (the 80's version, a great game in its own right!) Dungeon the boardgame, and my own variant that I created years ago. The old board was destroyed in a flood, and I hope to one day make it again.
Those are just a few of my favorites. I don't get to play them all the time, Dawn Patrol and the Star Wars RPG are probably my most frequent.

I started playing Avalon Hill games back in the early 70's. One of my first games (and the one that bred my interest in WWI aviation) was Richthofen's War. We played the heck out of that game. After that I played a lot of Squad Leader, Panzerblitz, Flat Top, and others. In college I was the president of the wargaming club and we had a regular weekly game of Battlelines Air Force/Dauntless series. After college I couldn't find opponents so most of my games went in the trash. Then the internet and e-gaming took off and rekindled my interest in those great old games. I now own far more Avalon Hill games than I ever did as a kid. In the last couple years I've gotten very interested in Avalanche Press' Panzer Grenadier series of games. They're platoon level games that are the perfect balance between fun and realism. It was about eight or nine years ago I bought Dawn Patrol on Ebay and have been looking for ways to play it regularly ever since. I've played probably 30+ DP games using VASSAL, but never an official game face-to-face. These days I get my WWI aviation kicks out of a new series called Wings of War. It's colorful, simple and a lot of fun.
