Just to start conversation on this again, is there any update on the 8th edition? Also, (and I don't want to sound pessimistic) in all seriousness will there ever really be an 8th edition? It's been "coming soon" since I first bought DP off of Ebay about eight or nine years ago and I just don't see it happening. LMAO |

In past conversations with those in the gaming industry, I seem to remember that once a game is completely set for publication, it takes anywhere from one to one and one-half years for that game to make it to a retailer's shelves. You may wish to confirm this with those still in the industry (Marty Stevers comes to mind.)
That also goes on the premise that you can find a publisher willing to take on the project.

Mr Carr announced at the Mini conn that the plane charts had been completed and sent to Jim Pink. He hopes to have everything completed by the end of the year and in Marty Stevers Hands.
