Okay, my pilot (SGT Melchoire Giovanni, Italian) scored a double kill on Feb 21st by downing Rick's Albatros and Ethan's Berg DI.
I'd like to nominate him for a Class A medal, the Italian Gold Medal of Military Valor (1-2 on 6 sided dice), for a "suitable act of bravery" (as opposed to "outstanding accomplishment" or "most outstanding accomplishment" for B and C medals, respectively.
I tend to think of double kills as borderline for Class A medals; they can qualify or not. But I guess this claim would be based on:
1) Not many double kills on the Italian front. Not many single kills on the Italian front. Not even many missions on the Italian front at all. 2) This double made him a double ace and the top Italian ace in Dawn Patrol
Whaddya all think?

If that indeed is the wording- "suitable act of bravery" - then I vote a resounding yes! Especially taking into account the rarity of the occurrence.

With support from you, Rick (via email) and Ethan (Stephen Dale was gone today), I made the roll today and won the Italian Silver Medal of Military Valor. Ethan witnessed the roll, and I'm super happy to have such an odd medal for one of my pilots.
