Well...we have had no gaming in Sept or Oct...

Let me be the first to call for IRON MAN Fits!

No warm ups games. At the AD game, we walk in, roll for our planes, and take our chances.

Well it wasn't for lack of trying! I'd still really like to get in a game day first, but I must admit that the Ironman Fits idea has some appeal. I'd certainly do it. If we can't get gaming in before then, let's do it that way. Count me in. And everyone is on equally (bad) footing.

I'm having serious date issues for ADFT though, so I really need you guys to weigh in. I think all of us are concerned about work and finances and I'm no different. And I've had some jobs come up recently with more possibilities on the horizon. I'm sorry to mess with the schedule, but I need to take work when I can find it just like you guys.

There is a slight chance that I could be working on Nov 6. I am definitely driving the Baja 1000 from Nov 10-21, which knocks out two more weekends. And I'm working again on Dec 4th.

So that leaves Oct 30, Nov 6 may be available, and Nov 27. I really need feedback from you guys so we can figure this out. The Friday night before each of those dates is also available.

Dec 11 and 18 are also available, and yes, we've had to move to December a few times in years past so it's not a crime. But I don't want to be trying to schedule ADFT in February.

Let me know when you can look at your calendar and let's try to get the best date for everyone.

We're shooting for the 6th now - will know pretty soon - and yes, we can try for a late morning start and be done by 5.

If I can make the 6th, that should work for everyone. Righto?

Okay, the 13th is officially open and ready for gaming! Everyone check in here to verify, but after all this discussion, the 13th is the date that we'd all be counting on all along so it should be a wash.

I'd like to use Rick's idea and start everyone off with a bang straight into the ADFT. Also, this will help Michael, since he may need to be done by 5-ish.

Yo! Peeps! Weigh in here... is everyone still good with the original date of Nov 13? I don't wanna be trying to figure this out on Friday night. Whassup?

We'll have to start right with the tourny cause I have class at 6 so depending on where we play that'll determine when I have to leave.

We have a brand new design for the Victory Medal! Three new medals were ordered this week. They'll be delivered in time for this weekend's event. If they come in before Friday, I'll post a picture here.

Of course, it's still a gold medal on a red ribbon as it has been for 22 years. Should be pretty sharp looking. I ordered three, so we're all set for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

And of course, in December of 2012 the world ends anyway.
