Today I celebrate a momentous achievement, my first Ace.
Lt. John Wolfgang, my first pilot, who started his carrier by being shot out of the sky at 12,600' and surviving, only to be captured then escape the POW camp.
He scored his first victory at, and won the RBF XX. His roster grew and he now has 7 missions and 5 victories after blasting my Dad's left wing off, killing his rookie. He was awarded the D.S.C. and is on a 3 mission killing streak.
