We can always Indy squadron-ify the HO tables. Hey, you make up your own words, too? Aha! A brother! We've actually discussed that several times and even gone so far as flying some experimental games using charts made by Scott Campbell some years ago. He was a big proponent of that. I'm not really opposed to it, but I am concerned about using charts that are so different that they depart from society rules and put a big wall between us. Maybe that wouldn't be the case - dunno. Another concern - why re-write the rule book around one person and one situation? But the thought does have some merit and its been bounced around several times. I know of at least two people who've put together such charts. I've heard that people other than my bro have caused said situation. And maby next time we play we can run said experimental game.

This is really starting to tick me off. I said that I would have 1 pilot that would go all kookookacuu, not all my pilots. There is a big difference between 1 and all. So I do it once and I'm already the enemy. You guys take this game WAY to seriuously. It's a game. Why can't you guys let me have a little fun? If you'd guys rather me play the game like it's my life and never take crazy shots and never joke around about anything, then I will just have to declair me inntent to escape Dawn Patrol That seems like what you guys want anyway (Except Mr. Kevin) Games are sposed to be fun. I wasn't having fun, so I tried something new. I'm so sorry that I made a life changing mistake when I HOd you pilot(Which I didn't kill anyway) So do you still want to do this hard way? Wesley don't get ticked off little buddy. Nobody's attacking ya. We already said we didn't wanna seem like we were piling up on you. You weren't originally saying you were only going to have one pilot who used that tactic. I had a pilot like that once (he didn't live long by the way was the moral to my story), and I quickly realized that if you live by the sword you die by the sword. I don't take this game too seriously. At least not anymore than you or Dean Miller or anyone over on Wizards or Bloomilk take Star Wars miniatures when they discuss the game there. We're just having a discussion, so don't take it personal brother! If you get too ticked off you won't read what we're actually saying and read into it things that we're not saying. In the end there are plenty of us who love DP just as much as many others out there love Star Wars mini's etc.... but in the end it is just a game and you're right we shouldn't take it too seriously. But the difference between this and a Star Wars mini's game is that you may only invest an hour or two in a character in that game whereas in Dawn Patrol you're talking a 10 year span for some of us where we've built a guy up. Sure we could lose him at anytime, but the only point I was trying to make is we'd rather lose them for a good reason. I hope that makes sense to you. Anyways, I really didn't want to get into a big old debate about this. And I sure don't want you upset, because that gets us nowhere. I was mainly just trying to help you enjoy the game more, and that was the same thing Stephen was intending too if you go back and read his post. Have a good night brother I just came home from the emergency room and I'm getting ready to go to bed.

Why were you at an ER Mr. Richeson? This stupid cough I've had for over 3 weeks. It's turned out to be an acute case of bronchitis. And it's not very cute!

I've been struggling with this cough since we had Halloween at your house Michael. The doctor said today that it should start to get better within the next few days. It's taking forever though.

Hey one more thing about Wesley's head on attacks. Wes, you will change your mind after you realize that your pilots aren't living. I know it seems like a good way to get kills fast, but you'll never take a pilot to being an ace (or stay there very long) using that strategy. It's just as deadly if not more so to the pilot making the head-on attacks.

As a young person, Wesley thinks he is trying something that no one in the DP world has ever thought of before. I hope you can change his attitude but he may not be mature enough to see your point.
