Okay, for those of you who have no chance but don't realize it yet, here are some interesting footnotes to 20 years of ADFT history...
- Wayne has finished second in the last two consecutive tourneys and hasn't finished out of the top five since 2003.
- Yes, the top five has meaning in the ADFT. We've averaged 11 players per tourney for five years now. That's not a high... that's an average. And the top players show up and bring their best game. You have to have a mighty good day to score a top five in the ADFT. The only reason we don't recognize it is because in the ADFT, winning is everything and everything else is nothing. Nature of the beast.
- I've never finished second in this game in 20 years. Not sure if there's an omen there or not, but its a fact.
- Ken's finishes in his five ADFT's: 9th, 11th, 2nd, 1st, 1st. He either wins or loses big. I like that. That's what this game is all about.
- Rick has the most appearances of any player yet to win the tourney (9) followed by Scott Campbell and Alice (7 each).
- With 7 players, last year's deliberately downsized tourney had the lowest attendance of any ADFT since 1998.
Okay, what wacky facts can you throw in?

Ok I have some great facts and figures together. I've completed my all-time Armistice Day scoring averages update! A few notes before I reveal the scores:
-Players who played in the game's early tournaments were not penalized for having scores below 0. This is to help compensate for the fact that modern Indy games do not have this. -Also, given that it's probably impossible to tell what everyone actually WOULD have scored if the modern scoring system was used, I went through and gave all of the players who participated in THOSE games a bit of a bump. This bump amounts out to about a 10 point bonus. It may not mean much to those players who have played in the even many times over, but for the ones who played only in the early days it will help their averages some. I think this has helped even that out. -In order to qualify for this list, a player must have competed in at least TWO Armistice Day tournaments. It's not an average if you only played one year, and it's impossible to tell if that person was a "one-shot" wonder or not.

23 players competed in at least TWO scored Indy Squadron title games over the course of its history. My list actually had 34 competitors overall from the game's inception. 11 of those only made 1 appearance. The top scorers of those who made only 1 appearance are Rich Kapastanczek followed closely by Mike Carr the inventor of Dawn Patrol.
For those who appeared in at least 2 games, here are the averages from the bottom up:
#23: Brian Halberstadt: 4 appearances average:23.5 #22: Scott Halberstadt: 2 appearances average:25.5 #21: Mike Oda: 2 appearances average: 30.0
The top 20 coming up next.........
