As it stands right now it appears we are good to go to play our championship game at the Morgans' house. I confirmed this with Mike Morgan last night. They have plenty of room and a nice big table for the big game.

Mike said he'd be ok with a noon start time, and we could play 1 warmup game before starting the big game. They are pretty close to a lot of amenities and fast food places as well. It would be nice if we could get a head count as to how many are planning to come.

It would be nice to see some of our out-of-towners make it this year!

Sorry I missed yr call today, Kevin. Just got in from San Antonio. Anyway, space and convenience are the big issues here. We need place with a flexible ending time because the ADFT runs long and is unpredictable. If we run one game at noon and then run the ADFT, we could easily be 9-10 pm or later. Yes, the championship sometimes runs that long. Is Mike ok with that?
Food is nearby and convenient... right? And this venue affords us more space than Rick's house? Please confirm and thanks for paving the way with Mike. This could be a nice option. Thanks!

I wonder if its time to do an article handicapping the favorites?

A handicapping article is always fun. Maybe adding big game average scores as an element to the scoring would be cool too. I should be able to update that finally within the next day or so. I've built a spreadsheet to track it.
Yes food is nearby and convenient, and I'd say there is definitely more space than Rick's. (Although I like his setup as well).
Michael was even lobbying his dad for a game AFTER the big game, but I doubt we'll see that. I'm sure we'll be ok to be done by 8-9 pm even if it goes long.

Unfortunately, my place isn't an option currently, as the table we play on was converted to a desk when HP shut the Indy office down and moved me to telework. When that changes I can come back into the mix as a play site. Sorry.

S'alright... we've got good options. My place is small but it is adequate if necessary. Gamerz and Game Preserve are also available. My main concern was to make sure that the Morgans knew that the game is unpredictable and may go pretty long and we can't really provide a cut off time. It goes however long it goes. DO NOT count on 8-9pm or anything near it. Yes, we probably will make that, but stranger things have happened and we don't want to cut off the title game. As long as they're good with that, it sounds like a great chance to break in a new venue.

I have updated the calender with the correct location: the Morgan's house. Their address is: 5445 Floating Leaf Drive, Indianapolis, IN.
So who all is definitely IN at this point?
Here is who I know from my end:
IN: Wayne, Kevin, and Garrett Richeson Michael & Wesley Morgan
Possibles: Ian Cunningham Matthew Roeder Mike Morgan

We may have more Armistice Day rookies than we've ever had before.

So who's coming? I'm trying to get a good count for Mike. The Morgans are looking forward to hosting our big game!

I'm in. Stephen Dale is likely but not fersher. Dory has never missed an ADFT so she's probably there as well. We should have a pretty big crowd I would think.
Ethan and Sierra may play the warm up game but I may not let them play the tourney. There's absolutely no table talk allowed in the ADFT and neither of them can truly play a game by themselves yet. Sierra is a remote possibility, but Ethan is just not ready yet.
Also, rookies should go to the Armistice Day page and read the eligibility rules. And this game will be even more difficult because they cannot get any help. I don't want to discourage anyone from playing, but just remember that Armistice night is not a regular gaming night and its a pretty tough way to start your DP career.
