Actually, if he's doing the scenario, its Rick who'd better be prepared for that. As campaign designer, you'll be Dr. Evil.

Ok guys, time to start thinking about which you'd like to play. I have 4 choices:
Bloody April - Apr 7 thru Apr 13th, 1917. The Battle of Cambrai - Nov 21 thru Nov 27, 1917 The Ludendorf Offensive - March 21 thru March 28th, 1918 2nd Battle of the Somme - Aug 21 thru Aug 27, 1918
Each one of these has a unique mix of aircraft and the Allies can choose between British and French. If anyone wants more details I'll share what I can, but the actual planes will be announced once we decide on which to play.
I would recommend however, if you are interested in true balance, to go with 2nd Somme, it is probably the most balanced of the four.

The only balanced scenarios are when you take an equal number of planes with near-identical armament and performance stats and use them on both sides. Yawn. The best way to provide balance is to give each side something that the other doesn't have, then see which team uses it to their best advantage. I vote for Cambrai.

I vote for the 2nd Battle of the Somme or The Ludendorf Offensive. I'm a sucker for late war.

I'd be ok with any of them. But probably the 2 in 1918 would be my preference.

The main thing I ask is that I'm not stuck in a 2-seater for the whole campaign. Other than that I don't care what we play.

I know I know Stephen's gonna lecture me on the fun of playing a 2-seater, and I get it. But I still prefer not to fly them after all these years.

They can be a lot of fun. Sometimes I'm not in the mood, but I think I'd take one for the campaign if that's the way the dice rolled. I might not request it, but they can be fun.

So are we still good to start this on the 12th? Rick you haven't confirmed for sure if you're ready and we haven't chosen which one we're going to do for sure. My vote is for The Ludendorf Offensive.

I am mostly ready, I was just sorta waiting for a consensus (yes, I know, silly of me) on which set to use because it'll make a difference on what I prepare. My personal choice would be for the Ludendorf Offensive also with British planes. But I hadn't really gotten a sense of anything definitive yet. I'll say that's 2 votes for Ludendorf. I'll declare Wed eve at 11:59 pm the deadline for voting, the largest count wins-that will give me enough time to prep the materials. Either post here or email me your choices. So far: Rick - Ludendorf Kevin - Ludendorf

I vote for The Ludendorf Offensive. And I'm with Mr. Richeson on this one, if I get a Two Seater I will just declair my intent to escape after I get mission credit.
