Ever since the Madison War, in which Guadalahara was annexed as reparations in the Treaty of Kankakee, this issue has been clouded. The border disputes that erupted between the natives of Kalamazoo and the Port Authority of Indianapolis were not settled until the archbishop of St. Paul intervened shortly after the Freikorps Rebellion. Of course, this temporary cease-fire was only made permanent after Jefferson completed the Milwaukee Purchase. I'm surprised you were unaware of this.

All I know is that it was a GOOD thing the archbishop of St. Paul intervened in the Freikorps Rebellion. It was getting bloody and fierce!
