I notice that there is now a forum on the Vassal website. For any players that encounter connection issues, I would encourage you to post the details of your problems there, where there's quite a large community that may be able to provide solutions to your problems.

Since we came out with VDP v1.2 last year, I haven't seen any problems that seem to be occurring for more than one user, with the exception of our inability to connect directly between computers when the Vassal server is down (and I think that's a problem with the core software, not our module). This leads me to believe that the issues players are encountering are unique to their systems, internet service providers, or internet connection settings.
Note: This isn't to say that the module is perfect. There are things that need to be fixed, mostly with the graphics. I finally had some time to work on these over the holidays, and I know that Rex has some improvements he wants to make too. I'm still hoping to have another map to add before we come out with v1.3.
