I should be online and setting up a game by 8 CST or just after. I have an early morning on Friday, so I'd like to get the game running as quickly as possible.

That's my issue every week. Having to get up every day before the sun does means I usually can't play very late. Since I now use VASSAL V2.9.9 I should be able to get on (and hopefully stay on) at around 8.

I will do my best to be on tonight, but I have a sick wife at home. Looks like a version of the flu - ugh.

Well, no game last nght. Three of us were on till about 8:45 but then we all decided it was too late to be starting up a game even if a 4th eventually did show. Maybe next week we'll have enough for a game.

Yeah we were hoping to get a quick game in starting at 8, but by the time 8:45 rolled around none of us cold see a game getting set up and completed by the time we'd have to leave. The biggest problem with VDP that I can see is the time it takes to get everyone assembled and get a game set up and started. Once things are up and running things move along fairly quickly, it's just the startup process that can be a pain.

Sorry guys, thankfully my wife is doing better today so it was just a 48 hour bug. I earned some major points by "sacrificing" my game night to take care of her. "Get er' done!" I am definitely in for next Thursday.

The last two weeks, I've rolled up details as soon as I logged on, and posted them on the board by entering them in the 'altitude' notation of a counter. If the first person online does this, all that's left to do is to roll sides and prepare our record sheets.
