There will be at least one other person showing up at about that time, so we'll either wait or let you both fly in.

Hey guys, I really hope to be on tonight too, but I am not sure if I will make it. If I can be there, I should be on by 9pm also. My company is moving to a new building this weekend so my schedule is crazy at the moment. Hope to get in there for the balloon mission!

I Like the Idea of the campaign. If it can be structured to allow for the variation in players then I think it would be fun. I remember reading a thread about FtF mini campaign. It sounded like not everyone was at all of those games ether. Maybe the people who participated can enlighten us on how do deal with a rotating roster of players.

The Australian guys had a set of campaign rules that worked very well, we used it in the HP flight when we ran our campaign.

If you have set teams, then balance them as best you can and you still run the risk of one or more players dropping out, having schedule changes, losing interest, or whatever, and in that case the teams quickly become unbalanced. If you have rotating teams, much of the fun of the campaign is lost because when you play on German one time and Allied the next, who really cares who wins? Indy has generally gone with set teams and accepted the fact that both teams runs the risk of players dropping out and we'll all live with it.

I've set up another thread to discuss campaign details.
I'm glad to report that last night we ran a successful balloon busting scenario. Well, maybe not so successful for Michael, who passed out from a LW at 400'. But after his success last week chasing away two allied planes in an Albatros, I think he's just about balanced out for luck.
I'm thinking a bombing mission may be in order for next Thursday.
