FYI - I just tried the link to download the ace list form and got jibberish which crashed my browser...

I just downloaded the file to my desktop with both FireFox and Explorer, opened Open Office program, then successfully opened both files.
If anyone else can test this file it would be appreciated. I cannot find any difficulty with it.

Just tried it on my other computer here and it downloaded okay via Windows 2000, then one click and it opened perfectly in Excel.
Hmmm.

I think its a firewall issue on my end. I was able to get it from the Apache site, so unless anyone else has problems I wouldnt worry thanxs!

I was able to get it from the Apache site, I think its just a firewall issue.

FYI, it's about a week to the deadline and I've gotten less than 15 submissions. Gonna be a pretty short list this year....

I'm all over it. Unabashed admission - I am waiting til the last minute on purpose because I've been on the verge of getting a new Alb ace (which I'm sure to promptly kill) and I want him on the list.  |

FYI TO ALL!!!!
This weekend is the last weekend for submissions. If your snail mail submission isn't postmarked by 6-4 I reserve the right to ignore it, if I don't have an email submission by 11:59pm on 6-4 the same applies.
Gotta admit there are some pretty surprising names missing this time around, kinda makes me sad to see how far the society involvement has dropped off to.

I worked on an article for the 'Drome the month of May thinking I could submit after I was done. But I couldn't access either form on the Indy/Arizona sites so I missed the dead line. Besides, I get the impression that folks are a bit tired of seeing my aces at the top year after year so...

OK, I have heard now several stories about folks not being able to DL the form. In the interest of fairness, anyone who wants to submit but has not yet for this reason can send me an emai at ( rlacy40@hotmail.com ) and I will send you a copy of the form directly.
Please note you will need MS Excel to open the file, preferrably a later version like 2000 or 2003. It should work with 97, but I'm not completely sure of that.
I will consider anyone who wishes to take advanatage of this on time until 11:59pm EDT Jun 24th.
