Ok. I have had a lot of time on my hands the last few days due to an illness. I have spent some time adding some facts and figures together and have come up with averages for every player who has participated in at least TWO Armistice Day Tournaments.
I am also in the process of finishing up doing the same for the Red Baron Fight.
When I am done I will post the totals for the Red Baron Fight and also I will post the totals for all players in both major Indy tourneys combined. This will be known as the "Big Game" averages.
I did this for my own entertainment and thought I would share the results here.
Note: I calculated these averages based on the current Indy rules for scoring. Meaning that for those who would have had negative scores in the days when negative scores were possible, I calculated that player's score for that day as a "0" as it would be now.
(This turned out to have little to no effect on the overall rankings.)
Without further ado, here are the rankings and averages for every player who has competed in at least TWO Armistice Day Indy Squadron Championships:
Rank/Player/ Points per tourney appearance
1. Terry Phillips: 110.7
2. Ben Hodgson:105.0
3. Graham Shepfer:83.2
4. Wayne Richeson:76.3
5. Kevin Richeson:75.0
6. Rick Lacy:71.3
7. Ken Mrozak:64.7
8. Stephen Skinner:64.2
9. Dory Oda:63.3
10. Scott Campbell:60.6
11. Alice Skinner:58.9
12. Cody Richeson:57.3
13. Clark Sigmund:56.0
14. Barton Stano:54.3
15. Stephen Dale Skinner:49.5
16. Wyatt Richeson:44.5
17. Scott Jones:38.2
18. George Cunningham:38.0
19. Jason Meador:28.8
20. Mike Oda:25.0
21. Brian Halberstadt:21.0
22. Scott Halberstadt:20.5
Two things that jump out at you: Will we ever see Terry and Graham again??
Also, this obviously doesn't take into account the amount of players/points available in the games played. It is just a raw average of players in their Armistice day appearances.
Enjoy!!!
