Hey guys,
I've noticed alot of challenges lately. The gauntlet has been cast down to write articles, attend tourney's and host them.
So I'm going to ask. If we put together a tournament weekend down here how many of you would be interested in coming?

Jim,
I would love to attend an Arizona tourney, but practical obstacles tend to build up quick, so I think it would be tough to get down there. I know we in the MN group have talked of hosting events, but most of the response we get is people dont know if they could travel that far...
Maybe we could look to having a big online event this fall??
Otherwise I know Mike Carr is going to be in town here Sat. Oct. 20th, we are planning on a full day of gaming and possibly even a full weekend if out of towners are interested!

An AZ tourney is unlikely for me this year, but I'm sure to be on a book tour in AZ next summer/fall and would enjoy the possibility of merging a weekend game.

I'd love an opportunity to play DP face to face just once in my life but there's no way I'd be able to convince my wife that she needs to take off from work some weekend so she can stay home and watch the kids by herself while I spend a lot of money flying somewhere to play a board game.

One of the things that bothers us (The Jagdstaffel) the most is the passing of Michael Jackson. We've discussed running a memorial tournament every year when we play on the anniversary of his death.
Scott and I have discussed it. If we run an open tourney it would be in March which runs into the spring Mini-con I believe. Anybody know what month the Mini is?
