Well, I predicted a Jets win and unfortunately, that's what we got.
I do feel better for Taj Smith, since the defense stopped NY on the next possession and his play didn't lose the game for us.
What no one is discussing is this... we lost the game on special teams. Taj Smith nearly gave the game away with his ill-advised "running into the kicker" penalty, and then we promptly turned around and allowed Cromartie a 45 yard kickoff return. All NY needed was one first down to get within field goal range.
It was pretty obvious after the kickoff return that we needed a miracle to win. Kick coverage has been questionable all year, and that is essentially what knocked us out of the playoffs.
Well, here's to a (healthy) 2011 Colts season!
