I fail to see why you'd be shocked. I have tried to chronicle the sad march away from liberty this country has been following for years, and I know you've looked at some of the items I've posted. Why be shocked now? When government employees feel they can take any action they want with no consequences while proclaiming themselves the guardians of the very liberty they take away, we no longer have to fear 1984 - because we are living in it. "And where once you had the freedom to object, think, and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillence coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well, certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you..."

I fail to see why you'd be shocked. I have tried to chronicle the sad march away from liberty this country has been following for years, and I know you've looked at some of the items I've posted. Why be shocked now? Exactly!!!! And not to vent at George, but to vent at America and those in our church... I am totally, utterly sickened by those in my church who have expressed shock that the TSA would do this. Why be shocked now? Why bother? Invading nations that didn't attack us never shocked them. The total destruction of the Bill of Rights didn't shock them... half of the fools stood by and shouted "Praise the Lord!" while it happened. The Patriot Act didn't shock them. Any sacrifice of law and liberty was acceptable to stop the "terrorists." 80,000 dead innocent civilians didn't shock them. They spent most of their time in denial until Wikileaks produced original US Army documentation of the murders. Then they just ignored it. Torturing prisoners didn't shock them. Imprisoning people without trial or due process didn't shock them. Every instance you offer, no matter how frequently or what evidence is provided, is downplayed, minimized or ignored. And now they are shocked that the TSA feels up women and children and forces them to pose naked? GET YOUR FREAKING HEAD OUT OF YOUR BACKSIDE, AMERICA!!!! Anyone who didn't see this coming is a blind fool. The evidence was there. It was offered to you. You were warned well ahead of time. The signs were unmistakable. So now, as Samuel Adams said... crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget you were our countrymen.

A very good editorial cartoon in today's Indy Star by Gary Varvel. You should have a look.

At the end of her recent article detailing the child molestation, sexual assault and pornographic crimes committed daily by the sick perverts in the TSA... "Remember as a child hearing for the first time about Hitler and his 12 million victims? Remember your shock that a whole nation cooperated with an obvious madman, your incredulity that rational people swallowed the Nazis’ nonsense and acquiesced to torture, rape, hate and humiliation, concentration camps, mass murder? Remember thinking you would never in a million years understand how anything that grotesquely evil and demented could possibly happen?
Bet you understand it now. "

A very good editorial cartoon in today's Indy Star by Gary Varvel. You should have a look. I missed it... maybe I can still find it somewhere. I do get the Star, but I only read the sports. I throw the rest in the trash to avoid the propaganda. As Thomas Jefferson said when asked why he didn't read the papers: "I would rather be ignorant than misinformed." But my real issue here is the Christian church and the cowards who won't stand against this perversion. I expect government workers to mimic Satan. After all, they work for him (Luke 4). But not Christians. If anyone on earth should stand up against those who grope women's bodies, feel up children or force thousands of innocent people to pose naked, it should be Christians. I've scanned religious sites and watched gobs of Christian shows since then, and the only one with the courage to take a stand on the issue was - believe it or not - the 700 club. Otherwise, what do we hear from the church? Nothing. Zippo. The awkward silence of ten million pathetic cowards who turn away from the true and living God to worship their real master - the Almighty State. Absolutely sickening.
