Hi everyone,
i have been slowing getting back into wargames/boardgames, picking up old copies (ebay), of some of the games i played when i was young, dawn patrol being one of them.
Been following a couple of new game companies, ie: critical hit (advance tobruk), kyber pass games (b29)....and it seems that small niche game companies are slowing returning. these companies seemed to be what they called desk top publishing games, but they appear to be actually producing boxed games, with cardboard counters, in other words, like games we were use to seeing back when we were kids...
Now with Khyber pass games, they go by a pledge system, ie: they post a game design, and when they get 300+ pledges, they actually then produce the game...
so the thought would be? is this something that Dawn Patrol version 8 could be? would this help move the game to actually be produced? if we (actually not we, but Mike Carr), was to approach production of dawn patrol version 8.0, through a smaller publisher?
just a thought...
of course the question would we be, would we able to get 300+ pledges?
and of course if we could, then the game could be published!
