I'm still skeptical about this being a better format.
I'm finding the arguments for this propsal to be mostly sophistry.
I still think you should write this out and pass it around to playtest. Ok guess I'm convinced enough to at least try it.

I'm finding the arguments for this propsal to be mostly sophistry. Welcome to the world of the Indy Squadron, where is isn't a game day until someone has tried to become a master sophist about some aspect of the game....

Hey guys, I'm kinda late to this thread sooo..... Josecki I understand your conf0usion about getting folks to at least try a rule they don't readily understand. (eg Indy rule that allows you to add a hf from a 50' attack. I don't need to play test it to see it 's an acceptable house rule). I have heard people complain for years about the Camel/Alb tailing debate. For years I have suggested the Freikorps method of tailing from the 6 position only.(In the 5th edition the rule said you could tail from a 'good' tailing position. We determined the 6 spot as the 'good' position). It works is all I can tell you.Yet no one will ever try it. I think, despite the complaint , that people don't really want to give up any of the Camel's advantages over the Alb. Plus trailing from the tail fan is the only time you can legally cheat while banking....

During normal movement, you cannot move forward one square, face left and then do a 3 SQR left bank. Yet, if tailing from the 8 o'clock tail fan, and your target pulls a left bank, you are allowed to 'delay' one sqr by moving straight, facing left, and then do a 3 sqr left bank. Legal cheating.
